DFP Recruitment is seeking an APS6 Support Needs Assessor for a Federal Government opportunity across multiple NSW locations, including Gosford, Port Macquarie and Tamworth. In this role, you will gather and analyse information, interpret evidence, and prepare clear, accurate assessment reports to support informed decision‑making. You’ll communicate respectfully with participants, families and support networks, using trauma-informed and culturally‑safe approaches to ensure people feel heard, understood and supported.
You are a compassionate and adaptable professional with strong assessment, interviewing and stakeholder engagement skills. You can confidently manage complex information, apply sound judgement, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
