Job summary

Clicks IT Recruitment in Canberra is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise infrastructure across servers, virtualization, networking, cloud and data centre environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, SCCM, SCOM, DNS/DHCP, and enterprise networking, with a focus on resilience and scalable design. Base location: ACT, with a till 30 June 2027 contract and extension terms.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying and supporting enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server/AD and virtualization.
• Experience with networking, security gateways and data centres.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain and upgrade infrastructure and virtualised environments.
• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects and complex environments.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V/VMM, SCCM, SCOM, DNS and DHCP.
• Support enterprise networking, firewalls, load balancing and secure gateway technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive performance improvements.
• Support data centre operations, migrations, capacity planning and lifecycle management.
• Develop technical documentation, deployment guides, SOPs and specs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and service providers to deliver outcomes.
• Support infrastructure across geographically distributed environments.
