Job summary

Mater Hospital, North Sydney is seeking a Supply and Stores Assistant in a casual capacity to ensure timely delivery of medical consumables and to maintain stock levels. You will report to the supply supervisor and support clinicians by ensuring efficient supply processes.

The role requires experience with electronic data systems, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to warehouse activities. Hybrid or on-site options are offered with a focus on patient care.

About The Role

• The role is instrumental in ensuring a smooth delivery of medical consumables for The Mater Hospital Sydney, reporting directly to the supply supervisor.


• Prompt delivery of goods and materials to relevant departments to optimise patient care.


• Carrying out inventory monitoring to ensure sufficient inventory is on hand to maintain the agreed level of customer service.


• Perform receivable activities as required.


• Maintain professional communication with external supply organisations.

About You

• Experience working with electronic data systems (e.g. Microsoft Office).


• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.


• Takes responsibility for accurate, timely work results.


• Experience in or willingness to learn warehouse management.


• Medical consumable product knowledge.


• Flexible work hours to cover planned and unplanned leave, you are experienced in warehouse and supply processes, flexible, reliable and eager to learn with a positive outlook, focused to support clinicians to enable them to care for our patients.
