Job summary

Murrin Murrin Operations, a major cobalt and nickel producer in Western Australia, seeks a Manager – Supply to lead end-to-end supply functions for MMO and MRM. This senior role requires directing warehousing, inventory, purchasing, and logistics with strong leadership and financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent operational experience.
• Hold, or be able to obtain, the statutory supervisor qualifications required for the role across MMO and MRM.
• Strong analytical mind with the ability to problem solve, identify trends and think logically.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
• Confident communicator with senior management, legal entities, and external stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP and Coupa desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MMO and MRM Supply functions, providing clear direction, leadership and accountability across all Supply activities.
• Developing and implement the MMO and MRM Supply Strategy aligned with the One GMA Supply Chain Strategy.
• Provide overall leadership across warehousing, inventory management, operational purchasing, freight management, road transport, rail logistics, port operations, marine logistics and rotable asset management.
• Develop and manage the annual Supply operating budget.
• Provide strategic oversight of all inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Drive improvements in warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy and customer service.

Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for a Manager – Supply to join our established and dedicated team.

Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end Supply functions at Murrin Murrin Operations (MMO) and McArthur River Mines (MRM).

• Lead the MMO and MRM Supply functions, providing clear direction, leadership and accountability across all Supply activities.
• Developing and implement the MMO and MRM Supply Strategy aligned with the One GMA Supply Chain Strategy.

About You

Reporting directly to the General Manger – Supply Chain this role would suit a person with experience leading warehouse, inventory, operational purchasing and logistics, with a strong financial commentarial management capability.

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent operational experience.
• Hold, or be able to obtain, the statutory supervisor qualifications required for the role across MMO and MRM.
• A strong analytical mind with the ability to problem solve, identify trends and think logically.

• Experience with SAP and Coupa desirable.
