Job summary

Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer with a major nickel footprint, located in WA’s Goldfields. We are seeking a Manager – Supply to lead MMO and MRM Supply, shaping strategy and directing warehousing, purchasing, and logistics across our multi-pit operations.

The role reports to the General Manager – Supply Chain and requires a strong track record in warehouse, inventory, and logistics leadership, with financial and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business or related discipline, or equivalent operational experience.
• Hold, or be able to obtain, the statutory supervisor qualifications required for the role across MMO and MRM.
• Strong analytical mind with the ability to problem solve, identify trends and think logically.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
• Confident communicator with senior management, legal entities, and external stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP and Coupa desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MMO and MRM Supply functions, providing clear direction, leadership and accountability across all Supply activities.
• Develop and implement the MMO and MRM Supply Strategy aligned with the One GMA Supply Chain Strategy.
• Provide overall leadership across warehousing, inventory management, operational purchasing, freight management, road transport, rail logistics, port operations, marine logistics and rotable asset management.
• Develop and manage the annual Supply operating budget.
• Provide strategic oversight of all inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Drive improvements in warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy and customer service.

Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for a Manager – Supply to join our established and dedicated team.

Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role

• Lead the MMO and MRM Supply functions, providing clear direction, leadership and accountability across all Supply activities.

About You

Reporting directly to the General Manger – Supply Chain this role would suit a person with experience leading warehouse, inventory, operational purchasing and logistics, with a strong financial commentarial management capability.
