Job summary

Lake Macquarie City Council offers a 2-year Trainee Supply Officer role at Boolaroo, commencing January 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in warehousing, stock management and customer service while completing a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Supply Chain Operations.

You will work with an experienced team, receive on‑the‑job learning plus online study through TAFE, and be mentored to develop practical skills for a future career in supply chain operations.

Qualifications

RoSA or equivalent with satisfactory English and Maths results.
Willingness to complete a 24‑month traineeship.
Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Support day‑to‑day operations of the supply store.
Gain warehousing and stock management experience.
Assist customers with enquiries and service requests.
Receive, reconcile and issue stock using inventory systems.
Contribute to store security and organisation.
Complete traineeship training and development activities.
Promote safety, teamwork, excellence and integrity.
