Job summary

The role requires strong analytical abilities, knowledge of logistics and supply chain methods, and excellent communication to present findings and drive practical changes with management and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics or related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assess complex operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in developing objectives, strategies and plans to improve efficiency of agricultural operations.
• Analyse movement and utilisation of inputs across cropping, livestock, feedlot and irrigation activities.
• Review procurement, receipt, storage, allocation and use of farm inputs such as seed, fertiliser, chemicals and fuel.
• Evaluate systems and workflows coordinating agricultural activities and supporting logistics.
• Analyse handling of harvested produce and movement of cotton and other products.
• Review livestock and feedlot processes to improve coordination of resources.
• Analyse seasonal requirements and resource allocation for peak activity periods.
• Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Advise management on recommendations to address inefficiencies and improve resource allocation.
• Monitor outcomes against objectives and performance measures.
