Job summary

CE Group is seeking Supervisors and Electricians for the construction of an LNG processing plant located outside a coal mine, approximately 40 km north of Moranbah.

The role involves HV/LV cabling, PLC wiring and fibre Ethernet work across process plants and support facilities, on a 2:1 roster.

This project is expected to run about 9 weeks with an anticipated start date 26 October 2026; remuneration is $68.77 per hour plus penalties.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and a current Queensland electrical licence are required.
• Supervisor qualifications are required for relevant roles.
• Hazardous Area qualifications are required for selected positions.

Responsibilities

• Pull HV, LV and instrumentation cables.
• Complete earthing, conduit installation and underground electrical works.
• Install lighting and power across site facilities and buildings.
• Install and wire PLC cards.
• Run fibre-optic and Ethernet cabling across the site.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking Supervisors and Electricians for the construction of an LNG processing plant located outside a coal mine, approximately 40 km north of Moranbah.

The project is expected to run for approximately 9 weeks on a 2:1 roster, with an anticipated start date from 26th October 2026.

You'll work across the process plant, storage and load-out facilities, power station, HV switchroom, PCR room, flare, water treatment facilities and site buildings.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Pulling, glanding and terminating HV, LV and instrumentation cables
• Completing earthing, conduit installation and underground electrical works
• Installing lighting and power across site facilities and buildings
• Installing and wiring PLC cards
• Running fibre-optic and Ethernet cabling across the site

What You’ll Bring

• An electrical trade qualification and current Queensland electrical licence
• Relevant Supervisor qualifications
• Relevant industrial electrical construction experience, with Hazardous Area qualifications required for selected positions
