Ganaji Contracting Pty Ltd seeks an experienced EEHA Electrician for a live LNG brownfields modification project in Karratha, WA. You will work on hazardous-area electrical installations within a safety-first crew, operating with Permit to Work and LOTO procedures.

Requirements include a WA Electrical Licence (unrestricted), Cert III/Cert IV in Hazardous Areas, and 3+ years in electrical construction. FIFO from any Australian capital city or DIDO for locals applies.

Formación

• At least 3 years' post-trade experience in electrical construction.
• Proven EEHA electrician on hazardous-area installations.
• LNG or oil and gas experience; brownfields preferred.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.

Are you an experienced EEHA Electrician with a strong Oil & Gas background?

Ganaji Contracting is looking for skilled electricians to join a major brownfields modification project at a live LNG facility in Karratha.

If you know your hazardous areas and can work safely around live plant, we want to hear from you!

The project

• Location: Karratha, WA
• Site: Live LNG processing facility (brownfields)
• Scope: Hazardous-area electrical installation, brownfields modifications, tie-ins, shutdowns and plant upgrades
• Roster: 2:1, 11.5-hour days
• Point of hire: Any Australian capital city (FIFO), or Karratha (DIDO)
• Employment: Full-time project role

What you'll be doing

• Installing cable, glanding and terminating, plus fitting junction boxes, lighting and electrical equipment in hazardous areas
• Working from electrical drawings, cable schedules and hazardous-area documentation
• Working under Permit to Work, isolation and LOTO procedures around live services and operating plant
• Keeping construction and Ex documentation accurate and compliant

What you'll bring

• At least 3 years' post-trade experience in electrical construction
• Proven experience as an EEHA Electrician on hazardous-area installations
• LNG or oil and gas experience. Brownfields experience is highly regarded
• A solid understanding of EEHA requirements and Hazardous Area equipment
• A focus on doing the job safely, compliantly and well

Tickets and licences required

• Current WA Electrical Licence (unrestricted)
• Cert III in Electrotechnology (Electrician)
• Cert IV in Hazardous Areas - Electrical (UEE42611 or current equivalent), completed or refreshed within the last 3 years
• Construction White Card
• Gas Test Atmospheres
• CPR and LVR (within the last 12 months)
• First Aid / Senior First Aid (within the last 3 years) desirable
• Right to work in Australia
