Job summary

Cochlear is seeking a full-time Supervisor - Maintenance & Calibration based in Sydney, Macquarie or Lane Cove. The role leads a team of technicians to perform maintenance and calibration to required quality standards, coordinating day-to-day activities and KPIs to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a trade qualification or engineering degree and at least five years in a regulated manufacturing environment, with strong communication and coaching skills to develop the team and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a team-supporting regulated manufacturing environment.
• Trade qualification or tertiary degree in engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities to ensure deliverables meet KPIs.
• Set team KPIs in collaboration with the Manager.
• Implement solutions to improve equipment availability.
• Monitor and provide feedback on team performance.
• Ensure adherence to Cochlear QMS and Hear Behaviour standards.
• Solve difficult problems and produce solutions outside standard procedures.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and manage communication updates.

The Opportunity

Cochlear has opportunities for a full-time Supervisor - Maintenance & Calibration based in our Sydney, Macquarie or Lane Cove office. In this role, the successful Supervisor will coordinate and lead a team of technicians, ensuring that maintenance and calibration tasks are performed timely and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate team day-to-day activities to ensure deliverables are met as per agreed KPIs.
• Set team KPIs in collaboration with the Manager.
• Implement solutions to improve equipment availability.
• Monitor and provide feedback on team performance.
• Ensure adherence to Cochlear QMS and Hear Behaviour standards.
• Solve difficult problems and produce solutions outside standard procedures.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and manage communication updates.
