Delaware North Australia is seeking a Functions Supervisor for the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), a full-time role overseeing event setup, service, and pack-down with close collaboration to kitchens, sales, and operations teams.

You will drive exceptional guest service at Australia’s iconic venue, mentoring a hospitality team and ensuring smooth delivery across diverse events in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise event setup, service, and pack-down activities.
• Set up dining areas, cafés, meeting rooms, conference spaces, banquet halls, and event venues according to client requirements.
• Ensure tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, buffet stations, coffee stations, and service areas are correctly arranged.
• Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure venue presentation and operational readiness.
• Manage event timelines and ensure all activities run according to schedule.

As Functions Supervisor, you will be working closely with the functions, sales, and operations teams, including kitchens, to use your expertise to oversee various functions.
