Pacific National in Queensland is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead frontline train crews within the Queensland Coal network, based in Coppabella. You will oversee daily operations, drive safe, reliable service delivery and foster a positive team culture.

You'll focus on safety leadership, rostering, incident support and collaboration with planning teams to achieve operational outcomes, with full Australian working rights and a roaster that supports operational needs.

About Your New Role

As an experienced Supervisor, you will join Pacific National's Queensland Coal team, based in Coppabella. You will lead frontline train crews and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable service delivery while fostering a positive team culture.

What You Will Do

• Lead and promote safety initiatives and compliance across operations
• Manage train crew performance, rostering and operational requirements
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, including onboarding new drivers
• Support incident management and workplace issue resolution

What We’re Looking For

• Leadership experience within transport, logistics, mining, rail or heavy industry
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership
• Experience managing employee relations and workplace matters
• Ability to work flexibly to support operational requirements
• Rail industry experience is desirable but not essential
