Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Newcastle Operations team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on supervising daily crew activities, maintaining safety, and coordinating shutdown tasks at a major Newcastle site.

You will lead by example, drive a strong safety culture, and ensure quality and timely execution while supporting local operations and career development within Monadelphous.

Monadelphous is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Newcastle Operations team on a permanent basis.

The role of Supervisor will see you working on one of our major sites in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of crews.


• Ensure compliance with Monadelphous, client, and legislative HSE requirements.


• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of shutdown tasks.


• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance.


• Lead by example and foster a positive team culture.

What you will bring:

• Welding Supervisor Certificate No.10 AS 1796-2001 (highly regarded)


• 3 years minimum experience as a site-based supervisor.


• Must hold Australian recognised Metal Trades Qualification


• Fixed Plant and shutdown experience preferred.


• The drive to get hands on and lead by example.


• Strong ability to manage time to achieve tight deadlines.


• Experience in effective planning, scheduling, budgets, variations, management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet Project requirements.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
