Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Construction Supervisor for a long-term Tocumwal project, offering split shifts (morning and afternoon) and the potential for up to seven years of work. Local candidates are essential for this long-term role, with a focus on safety, coordination and on-site leadership.

You will oversee subcontractors, ensure compliance with specs, manage materials, and support the Project Manager with variations and testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for SH&E on site and ensure safety standards are met
• Ensure construction activities align with approved specs and design requirements
• Coordinate with project management, contractors and stakeholders
• Manage and control construction materials on site
• Support the Project Manager in assessing and managing project variations
• Oversee testing and pre-commissioning activities and ensure proper planning
• Identify, record and drive closure of non-conformances
• Contribute to work pack development and as-built documentation with the PM and engineering team
• Monitor progress to align with the project schedule

Monadelphous is seeking Expressions of Interest for a Construction Supervisor to support an upcoming long-term project based in Tocumwal, NSW. This is a unique opportunity offering a flexible daily split shift (morning and afternoon hours) and the potential for up to 7 years of ongoing work.

Due to the nature of the role and work schedule, local candidates are essential.

As Construction Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the subcontractors site activities and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant project delivery. This position requires strong coordination skills and a proactive approach to leadership on site.

The role will see you responsible for;

• Maintain accountability for all Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) matters on site
• Ensure construction activities are executed in line with approved specifications and design requirements
• Coordinate effectively with project management, contractors, and relevant stakeholders
• Manage and control construction materials on site
• Support the Project Manager in identifying, assessing, and managing project variations
• Oversee testing and pre-commissioning activities, ensuring they are planned and executed appropriately
• Identify, record, and drive closure of non-conformances
• Contribute to work pack development and as-built documentation alongside the Project Manager and engineering team
