Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking experienced Mechanical and Structural Supervisors to join our Mackay Operations Team for upcoming shutdown work across the Bowen Basin. You will lead mechanical crews on Dragline and Wash Plant projects, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

You’ll work on back-to-back shutdowns scheduled from July through to the end of the year, with flights and accommodation provided and exposure to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a site-based supervisory role.
• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker trade certificate (mandatory).
• Experience with Dragline and Wash Plant maintenance (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of mechanical crews.
• Ensure compliance with Monadelphous, client, and legislative HSE requirements.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of shutdown tasks.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance.

Job description

Monadelphous is currently seeking experienced Mechanical and Structural Supervisors to join our Mackay Operations Team for upcoming shutdown work across the Bowen Basin. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering critical maintenance and shutdown services across multiple sites.

You’ll be working on various shutdown specific rosters with back-to-back shutdowns scheduled from July through to the end of the year. The role involves leading mechanical crews on Dragline and Wash Plant projects, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
