Job summary

Marble Group is seeking an experienced Insurance Building Supervisor to lead residential repair projects across the Brisbane region. You will oversee a portfolio of repairs from commencement through to completion, coordinating trades and ensuring works are completed to high standards on time.

You will coordinate internal estimating, claims and administration teams, maintain site documentation, and ensure WHS compliance while liaising with homeowners throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• Experience leading insurance repair projects on residential properties.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

An established insurance builder is looking for an experienced Building Supervisor to join their Brisbane team, managing residential insurance repair works across the region.

Working within the General Works team, you’ll manage a portfolio of insurance repairs predominantly valued up to $200k, taking ownership of jobs from commencement through to completion.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing multiple insurance repair projects concurrently, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Day to day, you will:

• Manage residential insurance repair projects predominantly valued up to $200k
• Conduct site inspections and oversee works from commencement through to handover
• Coordinate and schedule trades, subcontractors and suppliers
• Manage project timelines and ensure works remain on schedule
• Review scopes and identify variations or additional works where required
• Monitor workmanship and ensure repairs meet quality standards
• Liaise with homeowners throughout the repair process and manage expectations
• Work closely with internal estimating, claims and administration teams
• Maintain accurate job notes, photos and site documentation
• Manage defects and outstanding works through to final completion
• Ensure sites comply with WHS requirements and relevant building regulations

About You

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Building Supervisor within insurance repairs
• Alternatively, strong residential construction or maintenance experience with an understanding of insurance works
• Solid knowledge of residential construction and repair methodologies
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
• The ability to manage a high-volume portfolio of jobs at different stages
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Confidence communicating with homeowners, trades and internal stakeholders
• A strong focus on quality and customer service
• Current driver's licence
• Relevant trade qualifications and/or QBCC licence highly regarded
