Job summary

WorkPac Group is hiring a Mining Supervisor for Callide Mine in Central Queensland. You will lead and mentor operators, coordinate daily activities to hit production targets, and ensure safety procedures are followed across the site.

You will liaise with management and departments, conduct pre-start checks, and complete shift reports. A strong mining leadership track record and current Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, and a valid driver’s licence are required.

Job description

Batchfire Resources is the owner of Callide Mine in Central Queensland, an open-cut coal operation located 120km south west of Gladstone and 20km northeast of the thriving regional township of Biloela.

A long-standing operation, Callide Mine is an open-cut coal mine producing 11mtpa of thermal coal for domestic power generation, alumina refining, and export markets. The operation has extensive recoverable coal reserves and long-term supply contracts in place, ensuring a long-term future.

What Will You Be Doing

• Leading and mentoring operators and production crews
