Job summary

Ready Industries on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an hands-on Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily sales, operations, customer service and compliance. You will lead branch staff and subcontractors, visit sites and manage yard activities with a view to growing into a Branch Manager role.

You will be comfortable on the phone, in the yard, and at customer sites, while building relationships and driving branch performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hire, construction or temporary fencing operations.
• Ability to lead and develop branch staff and subcontractors.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of WHS requirements and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the Sunshine Coast branch across hire, yard, transport and site works.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, installations and pick-ups; operate a forklift when needed.
• Supervise branch staff and subcontractors; set daily priorities.
• Maintain accurate customer, quote and pipeline data in CRM and systems.
• Manage contracts, day dockets and invoicing with Accounts support.
• Ensure safety and compliance across branch activities and sites.
