Downer is hiring electricians for HV substation work in Western Sydney, at Regentville, on a permanent full-time basis. You will join a specialized Energy & Utilities team, working on brownfield HV switchyards, with a 5/2 roster and home every night.

Ideal candidates hold a NSW Electrical Licence with experience in primary HV and secondary systems, plus a strong focus on safety, communication, and timely completion of tasks.

Competenze

• Current NSW Electrical Licence is required.
• Experience with primary HV and secondary systems installation.
• HRW licence (EWP/Forklift/Telehandler) is desirable.

Mansioni

• Participate in brownfield works on transmission substations.
• Work on HV switchyards and both primary HV and secondary systems under supervision.

About the Role

We have multiple opportunities for experienced Electricians to join our Energy & Utilities team, working on the construction of HV switchyards at our Regentville project in the Western Sydney region (Near Penrith). As part of a small, skilled team, you'll be involved in brownfield works on transmission substations, covering both primary HV and secondary systems. This role is based on a 5/2 roster.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current NSW Electrical Licence
• A strong background in primary HV and secondary systems installation.
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• A current driver's licence
• High Risk Work (HRW) licence - EWP and/or Forklift, Telehandler.
• Working at Heights & Confined Space certifications (highly desirable)
• First Aid & CPR/LVR certifications
• Construction White Card
• A strong commitment to our Zero Harm safety culture
