Job summary

Downer Group is seeking experienced Electricians to join the Energy & Utilities team for the Belrose project in Sydney’s northern beaches region. The role covers brownfield works on transmission substations, including primary HV and secondary systems, within a small, skilled crew on a 5/2 roster.

Applicants should hold a NSW Electrical Licence and HRW where applicable, with safety at the forefront. This is a permanent opportunity in a safety-focused, ASX-listed company environment.

Qualifications

• A NSW Electrical Licence is required.
• Experience in primary HV and secondary systems installation.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• HRW licence – EWP and/or Forklift, Telehandler is highly desirable.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications are desirable.
• First Aid and CPR/LVR certifications.
• Construction White Card.
• Strong commitment to Zero Harm safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Join the Energy & Utilities team to work on HV switchyard construction at Belrose project.
• Perform brownfield primary HV and secondary systems installations.
• Operate in a small, skilled team on transmission substations.
• Adhere to safety standards and project schedules with a 5/2 roster.

About the Role
We have multiple opportunities for experienced Electricians to join our Energy & Utilities team, working on the construction of HV switchyards at our Belrose project in Sydney’s northern beaches region. As part of a small, skilled team, you’ll be involved in brownfield works on transmission substations, covering both primary HV and secondary systems. This role is based on a 5/2 roster.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current NSW Electrical Licence
• A strong background in primary HV and secondary systems installation.
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• High Risk Work (HRW) licence – EWP and/or Forklift, Telehandler.
• Working at Heights & Confined Space certifications (highly desirable)
