Job summary

Light & Wonder's Lightning Box studio in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Studio Lead / Office Manager to run day-to-day operations, facilities, and culture. You will support production teams with schedules, onboarding, and vendor management, ensuring a smooth playground for designers, artists, and engineers.

Reporting to the VP of Game Studios NorAm, you’ll coordinate with Pune teams, manage budgets, events, and health & safety policies, and act as a culture champion in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in office management, studio operations, or a similar operational role.
• Experience working in or with a game development, digital entertainment, or iGaming studio is a strong plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable working with developers, artists, leadership, and vendors alike.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and calm under pressure.
• Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support production teams with project coordination: scheduling, meeting logistics, and cross-team communication.
• Work closely with our wider teams to ensure visibility in and out of the Lightning Box roadmap.
• Own day-to-day studio operations, acting as the first contact for facilities, vendors, and office needs.
• Manage the physical workspace: layout, equipment, and supplies for dev teams.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics for new hires: workstations, access, seating, and studio orientation.
• Plan and run studio events, team offsites, milestone celebrations, and visitors.
• Manage relationships with landlords, IT/facilities vendors, and service contracts.
• Support budget tracking for office and studio operational spend, including procurement and expense processing.
• Partner with HR, IT, and Studio Leadership on health & safety, compliance, and workplace policy.
• Act as a culture champion — fostering a positive, inclusive studio environment.
