iGaming: If it’s iGaming, we know a thing or two. At Light & Wonder, It’s all about the games, and our digital team leads the global iGaming market, providing jaw-dropping content and innovative software that powers the world's most successful online gaming providers.
Position Summary
We're looking for a Studio Lead / Office Manager to run the day-to-day of our Lightning Box studio in the heart of Sydney — part operations lead, part office manager, and part culture-keeper. You'll be the person who makes sure the studio runs smoothly so our designers, artists, mathematicians and more can focus on building great games. This is a hands‑on, highly visible role at the centre of the studio, reporting to the VP of Game Studios NorAm.
Responsibilities
- Support production teams with project coordination: scheduling, meeting logistics, and cross‑team communication.
- Work closely with our wider LNW teams to ensure we have full visibility in and out of the Lightning Box roadmap.
- Align with the team in Pune on a regular basis to ensure complete and synergy and alignment on game delivery and management.
- Own day‑to‑day studio operations, acting as the first point of contact for facilities, vendors, and general office needs.
- Manage the physical workspace: office layout, equipment, hardware/peripherals for dev teams and supplies.
- Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding logistics for new hires — workstations, access, seating, and studio orientation.
- Plan and run studio events, team offsites, milestone celebrations, and visitors.
- Manage relationships with landlords, building management, IT/facilities vendors, and service contracts.
- Support budget tracking for office and studio operational spend, including procurement and expense processing.
- Partner with HR, IT, and Studio Leadership on health & safety, compliance, and workplace policy.
- Act as a culture champion — fostering a positive, inclusive studio environment and resolving day‑to‑day workplace issues.
- Manage studio calendars, travel arrangements, and visiting stakeholder schedules.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in office management, studio operations, or a similar operational role, ideally in games, tech, or a creative studio environment.
- Experience working in or with a game development, digital entertainment, or iGaming studio is a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable working with developers, artists, leadership, and vendors alike.
- A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and calm under pressure.
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Proficiency with office/productivity tools and familiarity with AI software is a major plus.
Why would you enjoy working with us at Light & Wonder?
- Competitive benefits, an open and supportive environment as well as a modern and exciting workplace.
- The opportunity to interact with global teams on a regular basis.
- Opportunity to work on exciting and innovative projects in the gaming industry.
- Collaborative and creative work environment.
- Tangible and genuine development - at Light & Wonder, you can take your career where you want it to go!
- You will be working with a growing small fun team in one of the best waterfront offices Sydney has to offer. And if that’s not enough; we provide you with the guidance and development skills you need to progress quickly and enhance your career.
