Job summary

Bullsbrook College is seeking to establish a pool of Student Support Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies that may arise during the 2026 school year and into 2027. The role focuses on identifying at-risk students, implementing support strategies, and working with staff, families and the community to promote attendance and engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian or NZ citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term.
• Must obtain Working With Children Check before you start.
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education.
• Additional eligibility and training requirements as outlined in the Job Description Form.

Responsibilities

• Identify students at risk and develop appropriate support strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
• Maintain accurate student information and records.
• Prepare information for case conferences and student support programs.
• Support attendance, engagement and participation through targeted plans.
• Communicate relevant information to staff and stakeholders.
