Job summary

Mater Education at South Brisbane Campus is seeking an experienced Learning Support Advisor to deliver student-centric learning support and coaching across programs. The role involves designing resources, supporting curriculum development and engaging with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced education setting.

You will contribute expertise in pathways planning, numeracy, language and literacy, and additional learning needs, while operating with autonomy and a focus on student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Education, Teaching or equivalent.
• Experience in learning support or similar roles in education.
• Experience with neurodiversity support, access and reasonable adjustments.
• Proficiency in delivering learning support in virtual and face-to-face settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning support services that enhance student capability, engagement and success.
• Provide coaching and learning support for study skills and academic progression.
• Collaborate with Vocational Teachers to identify student needs and interventions.
• Develop learning support resources for teaching practice and curriculum planning.
• Design and facilitate virtual and in-person workshops to build academic and digital skills.
