Job summary

Newman Senior High School in Western Australia is seeking a Program Coordinator – Student Services to join our leadership team. You will lead a coordinated, evidence-informed approach to student wellbeing, attendance, behaviour, engagement and achievement.

Oversee prevention and targeted support to keep students connected to learning and progressing toward their pathways. A key focus will be strengthening PBS, restorative education and trauma-informed practice, building staff capacity to

Qualifications

• Experience in complex case management and SAER requirements.
• Ability to analyse student data, identify trends and evaluate impact.
• Sound judgement and knowledge of Department of Education policies.
• High standards of documentation and communication.
• Capacity to prioritise multiple demands and respond to sensitive matters.
• Interpersonal skills to build culturally responsive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a coordinated, evidence-informed approach to student wellbeing, attendance, behaviour, engagement and achievement.
• Oversee school-wide prevention, early intervention and targeted support strategies.
• Build staff capacity to implement policies, processes and practices consistently.
• Collaborate with Principal and teams to strengthen partnerships with Stars, Clontarf, Follow the Dream and Rise Up.
