Job summary

Comet Bay College in Secret Harbour (WA) is seeking a proactive Teacher - Year Coordinator of year cohorts to join our Student Services team. The role focuses on pastoral support, attendance and student wellbeing across years 7–12, with time allocation for non-teaching duties.

You will work closely with the Associate Principal, program coordinators and external agencies to promote positive engagement and tailored support for students, families and staff during school hours 8am–4pm.

Qualifications

• Must hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa with work rights for the term.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Year cohorts to promote wellbeing, attendance and engagement.
• Collaborate with Student Services, Learning Area staff and external agencies.
• Provide pastoral care and implement intervention plans for students in need.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive school culture.
