Job summary

Curtin University is seeking a permanent G08 level role to lead the Accommodation Coaches and coordinate programs that connect accommodation priorities with the University’s wider strategy. You will strengthen student experience, wellbeing, safety and community connection across on-campus and off-campus settings, and contribute to Curtin’s commitments under the National Higher Education Code.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards them with extensive relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and manage program plans within budget and resource constraints.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment.
• Sound financial and budget management capability.
• Experience leading and supporting staff and improving business processes to deliver student-centred services.
• Excellent written and oral communication for reports and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of accommodation programs and initiatives that support the student journey and align with portfolio objectives and Curtin’s strategy.
• Provide day to day leadership to the Accommodation Coaches, building team capability and supporting student-centred services.
• Plan and deliver assigned programs and projects, agreeing timelines and monitoring milestones and outcomes.
• Coordinate reporting and audits for compliance, safety, risk and quality assurance.
• Develop and improve business processes and operational plans with the Senior Manager Accommodation.
• Support budget monitoring, requisitions and payments within delegations; prepare business cases and briefs.
• Build collaborations across the University and with accommodation providers; monitor and resolve accommodation-related issues.
