Job summary

Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Nurse Educator Grade 1 on a casual basis to lead education programs for nursing and midwifery students and staff. You’ll plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based, person-centred care education at a facility level and mentor learners.

About The Role

In this role, you'll support and mentor student nurses and midwives and facilitate a professional relationship between the university students (undergraduate nurses and midwives) and Local Health District Registered Nurses. The Nurse/Midwife Educator is responsible for the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of nursing/midwifery education programs at a facility level to support development of evidence-based, person-centred nursing/midwifery care.

Also known as the Rainbow Region, this area is blessed with stunning forests and waterfalls, fertile farming land, artistic villages and relaxed seaside communities. For a different type of scene, you can drive to the Gold Coast or Brisbane in under 3 hours.
