Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience in planning for high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with the school community.
• Demonstrated commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment and school programs.
• Undertake additional duties as required in line with role and salary range.
• Engage in parent/teacher meetings and school activities.
• Participate in professional learning and reflect on practice to improve teaching quality.
