Job summary

First Line Engineering Pty Ltd – Yatala QLD is seeking a skilled Structural Steel Rigger or Rigger/Boilermaker. Join a dynamic team to safely rig and move heavy structural steel components while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

You will inspect rigging equipment, collaborate with crane operators, dogman, boilermakers and team members, and assist in setup and dismantling of rigging systems for structural steel projects.

Qualifications

• HB tickets and licences required for structural steel rigging.
• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Rigger with knowledge of rigging techniques for steel structures.
• Ability to work safely and follow project plans and instructions.
• Strong communication to coordinate with crane operators, dogman, boilermakers and team members.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy structural steel components.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently install structural steel.
• Inspect rigging equipment used for structural steel rigging to ensure good condition.
• Collaborate with crane operators, dogman, boilermakers, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for rigging structural steel.
• Assist in setup and dismantling of rigging systems per project plans.

Riggers Ticket (RB, RI or RA)
