Job summary

Raw iron Rigging is seeking skilled Structural Steel Riggers and Boilermakers for ongoing commercial and industrial projects on the Sunshine Coast. Roles involve erection, installation and on-site fabrication within a safety-focused crew.

You will work with professional teams, interpret drawings, operate hand and power tools, and comply with WHS requirements while delivering quality workmanship on site.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (Boilermaker) or proven structural steel rigging experience.
• High Risk Work Licence – DG, RB.
• EWP / Forklift licence.
• White Card.
• Experience working on commercial or industrial construction sites.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Strong safety awareness and work ethic.
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Structural steel erection and installation
• Rigging and dogging of steel components
• On-site fabrication, welding, and assembly (Boilermakers)
• Interpreting engineering drawings and site plans
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment
• Working safely at heights and adhering to WHS procedures
