Job summary

WSP Building Structures in Australia is seeking a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineer to lead multi-year design and delivery for turnkey projects. You will mentor junior engineers and manage client relationships to meet schedules and budgets.

You bring 5–8 years of building project experience across commercial, retail, health or education sectors, with strong proficiency in structural design including post-tensioned concrete and proven cross-disciplinary delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor to Master's level degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 5–8 years industry experience on building projects in commercial, retail, defence, health or education sectors.
• Solid proficiency in all-round structural engineering design including post-tensioned concrete.
• Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery.
• Ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead project work across design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year packaged work.
• Ensure timely, quality delivery of structural engineering work per standards and budgets.
• Maintain strong client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
• Collaborate within a national multidisciplinary engineering team.
