Job summary

Hatch Ltd. is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4–10 years of experience to join our growing structural team in Australia. You’ll work on industrial, mining, energy and infrastructure projects, delivering designs from concept through to detailed design and construction support.

You will apply advanced engineering principles and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop practical solutions. You will use SpaceGass, Strand7, and STAAD.Pro for analysis and modelling, review drawings, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
4–10 years of structural engineering experience in consulting, engineering or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of structural steel and reinforced concrete design and experience with structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

Deliver structural designs from feasibility to detailed design and construction support.
Perform structural analysis and design of steel buildings, conveyors, towers and concrete foundations.
Prepare calculations, reports, specs and scopes of work and review drawings/models for accuracy.
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, electrical and process engineers for integrated designs.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project schedules and effort estimation.
Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards (AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 1170) and client requirements.
