Job summary

St Peter’s College in Adelaide seeks a Strings Coordinator for the 2027 school year. This full-time, 12-month fixed-term role combines music teaching, strings program leadership, ensemble direction, administration and community engagement across both Junior and Senior School.

The position welcomes both qualified teachers and non-teaching professionals with relevant experience, and requires a commitment to fostering musical excellence, a South Australian Working with Children Check, and training

Qualifications

• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Have experience in teaching/supporting classroom music at primary level and management of a strings program.
• Have an ability to implement Kodaly and Orff methodologies.
• Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check.
• Provide evidence of completed training in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care, and First Aid.

• Combine music teaching, strings program leadership, ensemble direction, administration and community engagement across both Junior and Senior School.
• Work across both Junior and Senior School.
• Support the School’s values and Anglican ethos.
