Job summary

St Peter’s College in Adelaide seeks a Head of Faculty – Languages for the Senior School. You will lead the Languages Faculty, drive curriculum development and staff development, and ensure high‑quality teaching and learning programs. A willingness to teach Spanish is highly regarded.

This five‑year tenure leadership appointment begins at the 2027 school year, with evidence of leadership in education, and compliance with SA teaching registrations and child safety requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Languages Faculty strategic direction and day‑to‑day operations.

Job Description

About the position:

St Peter’s College is seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Faculty – Languages in our Senior School. This leadership position carries responsibility for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the Languages Faculty, including leadership of teaching staff, curriculum development, administration, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and passionate language educator who is committed to inspiring students to engage deeply with language learning and cultural understanding. They will be a collaborative leader with demonstrated experience in curriculum leadership, staff development, and the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning programs.

The ability to teach Spanish will be highly regarded.

This is a five-year tenure leadership appointment with an ongoing substantive teaching position, commencing at the beginning of the 2027 School year.
