Campbelltown City Council is inviting a permanent Resource Recovery and Waste Planning Officer to advise on resource recovery for development applications and planning proposals while reviewing the Development Control Plan and representing the Council in litigation when needed.

The role requires a degree in Environmental Science/Planning/Waste Management (or equivalent), a Class C driver’s licence, and strong communication and analytical skills to support policy development and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or Waste Management.
• Class C Driver's Licence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical ability.

Responsabilités

• Provide advice on resource recovery and waste management for development applications and planning proposals.
• Review Council’s Development Control Plan and advise on related matters.
• Represent Council in litigation matters (appeals, etc.) when required.
• Develop, review and implement policies, standards, and initiatives to improve service delivery and compliance.
