Job summary
Campbelltown City Council in Campbelltown NSW is seeking a permanent Resource Recovery and Waste Planning Officer to advise on waste management for development applications and planning proposals, and to review Council’s Development Control Plan and planning processes.

Qualifications
- Class C Driver's Licence.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Waste Management, or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of waste management and resource recovery.
- Experience with planning approvals, LEPs, DCPs and related processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication, policy and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Advise on resource recovery and waste management for development applications and planning proposals.
- Review Council's Development Control Plan and planning policies.
- Represent Council in litigation matters as required.
- Develop and implement policies, guidelines and initiatives to improve service delivery and compliance.
