Job summary

Perpetual Corporate Trust is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a specialist team delivering trust accounting services for managed funds and debt capital market clients across Australia and New Zealand. The role focuses on accuracy, governance and client outcomes, while guiding strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

You will oversee month-end to statutory reporting, tax outputs, and maintain strong client relationships, partnering with regional and global stakeholders to support

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary qualification in accounting/business/finance.
• CA or CPA qualifications, or progress toward qualification, preferred.
• Experience in managed funds, securitisation or debt capital markets is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, coaching and technical accounting guidance required.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting Team delivering trust accounting services for managed funds and debt capital markets.
• Oversee service delivery, review outputs and maintain strong client relationships.
• Contribute to strategic projects, operational improvements and new business opportunities.
• Support performance and development of the accounting team.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax obligations.
• Partner with Shared Service Centre and external advisers.
