Job summary

Lineage is hiring an Operations Manager, Transport NSW, to lead the NSW transport operation based in Lurnea. You will oversee daily transport activities, drive continuous improvement, and work with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding operational outcomes.

You will be responsible for safety, service and financial performance, developing a high-performing team and ensuring compliant, efficient transport services across the state.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport or logistics/3PL operations.
• Background in cold chain or temperature-sensitive environments.
• In-depth knowledge of CoR and NHVR regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, KPIs and reporting.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching of teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport operations with focus on safety, service and financial performance.
• Influence DIFOT, productivity and customer satisfaction outcomes.
• Manage transport planning, fleet utilisation and workflows.
• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with CoR, NHVR, fatigue and mass management requirements.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team through mentoring and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, service and efficiency.
• Monitor asset maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Support growth opportunities aligned with business strategy.
