Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking a Manager Integration and Planning (Transport Planner) to support transport integration, strategic planning and stakeholder coordination for a nationally significant infrastructure program.

Based in Sydney, Canberra or Newcastle, you will work with government stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams and senior decision-makers to drive planning, investigations and strategic transport initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in transport planning, urban planning, engineering or related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage planning activities for major infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
• Experience coordinating with government bodies, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience in preparing governance documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport integration and planning across major infrastructure projects.
• Manage planning initiatives for station access, interchange functionality, multimodal connectivity and interfaces.
• Support strategic planning, network development and infrastructure integration investigations.
• Coordinate inputs from consultants, advisers, internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Review deliverables to ensure alignment with objectives and requirements.
• Prepare reports, executive briefings, governance papers and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, risks, issues and progress reporting.
• Engage with government agencies, local councils, transport operators and industry stakeholders.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform planning recommendations and decision-making.
• Contribute to successful delivery of strategic transport and infrastructure outcomes.
