Department of Transport & Planning Victoria in Melbourne is seeking an Advisor to support transport network planning through analysis, coordination and strategic planning across transport, precinct and infrastructure projects.

You will help ensure proposals align with approved transport strategies, review planning proposals, identify risks, coordinate specialist advice, prepare reports and briefings, maintain planning documents and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver integrated transport

Qualifications

At least two years’ experience in the development of multimodal transport plans or equivalent qualifications.

Responsabilités

The Advisor supports Victoria’s transport network planning by providing analysis, coordination and strategic planning support across transport, precinct and infrastructure projects.
The role helps ensure proposals and projects align with approved transport strategies, modal plans and network planning frameworks.
The role reviews planning proposals, identifies risks and impacts, coordinates specialist advice and supports evidence-based decision-making.
It also researches transport issues, prepares reports and briefings, maintains planning documents and works with stakeholders to support integrated transport and land use outcomes and sustainable transport networks.
