Job summary

Transport for NSW invites applications for a Senior Manager – Business Analysis & Testing (Up to 11 Months Temporary) based in Sydney. You will lead Sydney Metro’s IT function, directing a multidisciplinary team across business analysis, testing and quality assurance for a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives.

You will provide strong, people-focused leadership, translate complex business needs into clear requirements, and ensure standards are met while shaping modern frameworks and ways

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills with experience in IT business analysis and management.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly and provide visibility on progress and risks to senior leaders.
• Solid experience in business analysis, testing and quality assurance, with a focus on improving processes, frameworks and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for business analysis, testing and quality assurance across a complex portfolio of technology services and initiatives.
• Provide strong, people-focused leadership, identifying workload pressures and blockers and resolving them early.
• Oversee requirements workshops, current and future-state analysis and prioritisation across product teams and delivery priorities.
• Provide oversight of testing/QA activities with internal teams, delivery partners and third-party providers.
• Develop and continuously improve frameworks, methodologies and ways of working across BA, BPM, testing and solution delivery; build a community of practice.
• Partner with IT leaders, product teams and delivery partners to align work with business priorities and keep stakeholders informed.
