Job summary

Michael Page Australia is partnering with a values-driven Australian education sector organisation to recruit a Strategy Analyst on a 12-month contract based in Parramatta. The role supports enterprise-wide strategy initiatives, governance processes, and performance reporting within a flexible 50% office / 50% work-from-home arrangement, a 70-hour fortnight, and a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing, shaping, implementing or supporting organisational strategy.
• Experience working within complex organisations across human services, healthcare, education, community services, government or not-for-profit sectors.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience preparing executive reports, strategic papers, briefing documents and board-level materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer strategic and annual planning activities including governance processes and documentation.
• Support development and execution of organisational strategy across the business.
• Prepare Balanced Scorecards, dashboards, KPI tracking and performance reporting materials.
• Analyse organisational performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Conduct environmental scanning, benchmarking and research to support planning and decision-making.
• Prepare strategic insight papers and briefings for senior leaders.
