Job summary

Sydney Metro Security Services is seeking an experienced Tender/Bid Writer to manage the preparation and submission of tenders, proposals, EOIs and capability statements.

You will work closely with management and operations to understand client requirements and develop professional submissions. This contractor/casual role is based in NSW, Sydney, with flexible arrangements and an attractive package.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender writing, bid management, proposal writing or procurement submissions.
• Strong written English and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand complex tender documents and convert requirements into compelling responses.
• Experience in security, facilities management or related industries desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and review relevant government, commercial and private-sector tender opportunities.
• Read and analyse tender documentation, including RFTs, RFQs, EOIs and procurement requirements.
• Develop tender response strategies and submission plans.
• Write clear, persuasive and professional responses to tender questions.
• Prepare capability statements, company profiles, methodologies and service proposals.
• Coordinate information from management, operations and relevant staff to ensure accurate responses.
• Prepare tender responses covering the full sector of Security Industry.
• Ensure submissions address every mandatory requirement and evaluation criterion.
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable tender content, policies, case studies and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate tender deadlines and ensure submissions are lodged accurately and on time.
• Review completed submissions for grammar, consistency, accuracy and professionalism.
• Work with management on pricing, resourcing and commercial components where required.
• Research prospective clients and understand their specific security requirements.
• Maintain a pipeline/calendar of upcoming tender opportunities.
• Continuously improve SMSS's tender templates and submission processes.
