Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a skilled Business Analyst in Parramatta to bridge business needs and technology solutions across complex enterprise environments. You will analyse processes, document requirements, model data and integrations, and collaborate with architects, developers, testers and product owners to deliver scalable, secure solutions that support NSW transport initiatives.

This fixed-term contract runs until 30/06/2027 with potential extension, and offers the chance to contribute

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and process/data modelling (BPMN/UML).
• Understanding of integrations, APIs, enterprise applications, and cloud/on-premises environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
• Develop process maps, data flows, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Assess applications, integrations, APIs, and data models to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and product owners to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Support testing, defect resolution, change impact analysis, and business readiness activities.
