Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to drive discovery and analysis across business and technology initiatives in public transport and tolling systems.

You will translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, collaborating with architects, engineers and delivery partners to ensure feasible, enterprise-aligned solutions. Hybrid work with Parramatta Square on Tue/Wed; Grade 8.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of business analysis practices (BABOK) and requirements engineering.
• Experience in agile delivery with product owners, developers and testers.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and analysis across business and technology environments.
• Translate business needs into functional/non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop current-state process models, data flows and system integrations.
• Collaborate with architects and delivery partners to shape feasible solutions.
• Support the delivery lifecycle from discovery to testing and implementation.
