Job summary

NHP is seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Planner to join the Supply Chain team in Melbourne. You will execute supply plans balancing product availability, inventory investment and supply chain costs.

Working across demand planning, product, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, sales and finance, you will monitor performance, identify constraints and drive corrective actions with a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in supply planning, materials planning or procurement in a complex supply chain.
• Hands-on experience with planning processes (MRP/DRP, S&OP/IBP) and translating demand to supply.
• Experience with ERP or advanced planning systems (D365, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical capability with Excel and Power BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Generate, release and maintain purchase orders aligned to the supply plan.
• Proactively manage open purchase orders and follow up overdue or risky orders.
• Manage shortages, expediting, excess inventory and stock-out risks.
• Provide forward-looking reporting on availability, constraints and mitigations.
• Investigate root causes and drive improvements to systems and processes.
• Evaluate airfreight and other expedite options with cost/risk trade-offs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve service and inventory outcomes.
• Use D365 and reporting tools to support planning cadence and decision-making.
