Job summary

Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for our Colac, VIC team. You will oversee end-to-end logistics, coordinate freight, and liaise with transport providers, storage facilities and customers to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field, solid experience in coordinating logistics operations, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation in a coordinating role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with transport companies, storage facilities, and customers.
• Book freight/orders with transport companies or 3PLs.
• Coordinate daily freight activities and monitor performance.
• Check orders and invoices for accuracy and maintain records.
• Ensure on-time shipping and delivery with stakeholders.
• Resolve freight issues and optimize logistics processes.
• Negotiate with freight contractors and stay informed on rate developments.
• Understand current freight rates for allocated markets.
• Handle freight claims and invoicing.
• Contribute to other duties as required.
