Electro Optic Systems is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category management for make-to-order engineered items sourced from external vendors. You will ensure on-time delivery and resolve technical and quality issues in line with EOS commercial, production, and supply chain objectives.

You will develop category strategies, analyse supplier capability, conduct market research, manage relationships, negotiate pricing and lead times, and ensure compliance with EOS DS policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in international sourcing and procurement.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role with manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience with metal fabrication and machining.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute category strategy for sourcing parts.
• Analyze supplier capability, capacity and cost to supply compliant parts.
• Conduct market research and manage supplier relationships to optimize value and reduce risk.
• Monitor on-time delivery, lead times, quality and cost performance; adjust strategy accordingly.
• Negotiate pricing and lead time with vendors to support category strategy.
• Contribute to EOS DS objectives in sourcing of materials and cost reduction targets.
• Review upcoming material requirements and source parts per priorities.
• Select appropriate vendors for make-to-order materials per objectives.
• Negotiate pricing and lead times; perform other duties as required by Strategic Sourcing Manager.
