Job summary
Optus is seeking a Senior Operational Architect in Australia to provide expert technical leadership and ensure architectural integrity for key customer accounts, notably in Financial Services and Federal Government. You design, review, and support complex solutions, mentoring a team across networking, cloud and security domains.
You will govern designs, guide pre-sales, influence business outcomes, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery and solution standards.
Qualifications
- Senior ICT architecture experience with leadership across complex networks and managed services.
- Experience designing bills of materials, proposals, and change requests while preserving architectural integrity.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive-level engagement across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural leadership and governance across complex networks and managed services.
- Lead customer engagement and strategic advisory to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Design and deliver end-to-end solutions including networking, cloud, cyber and managed services.
- Drive pre-sales activities and collaborate with Sales for value-based solutions and cross-sell opportunities.
- Mentor architects and delivery teams, handle Level 3 escalations, and drive continuous improvement of capabilities.
